Hello! Your i9 9900 CPU paired with the GAMMAXX LE500 cooler performed well initially, but after a night off, the fans ran at full speed and temperatures spiked to 90°C. After reassembling everything correctly—replacing the AIO and connecting components properly—the system started fine again. However, when you turned it off last night, the fans immediately spun at maximum and hit extreme heat. This could be due to thermal paste issues or improper cooling setup. You might have a broken sensor or a faulty pump. Have you got an infrared temperature reader? You can also feel the back of the Socket/Mobo—if it feels hot, the pump could be clogged or near failure.

Is the pump header configured for DC operation? Many of the AIOs I've tried prefer not to adjust PWM settings.

It should appear in the bios section, possibly under fan profiles or hardware monitoring options. I don’t know your specific board, so I can’t confirm for sure.
