Created a fresh scammer bingo site!
Recently I discovered a YouTube channel called Lewis's Tech that highlights fake tech support scammers and their methods. After watching several of his videos, I found his "Scammer Bingo" app amusing and realized what was happening. The host listed common scammer claims and then tallied points at the end, sometimes revealing the app to the scammer himself. At first, I wanted to try it myself, but since my system is a Mac instead of a Windows PC, I encountered a problem. I considered porting the app to a cross-platform version, but it wasn't possible—it was built with JavaScript and jQuery. My friend helped me set it up, and I found the updated version at https://scammerbingo.online/. It’s fully web-based and works on any device. You can use it to gather information about these scammers, report them to Microsoft, and share feedback. The mobile version is still in development, but I added a new sound for bingo moments and improved the interface to clearly show selected and unselected poles. Updated November 13, 2016 by Steps.
