Over the last couple of years I've relied on AT&T's Buyasession Prepaid service for our home internet, especially since Dialup was our main alternative. We're connected via a Nighthawk M1 Hotspot, which is the top model available at launch. Recently AT&T shut down one of its nearest towers permanently, forcing us to use a Band 2 tower with an average signal strength of about 120dBm. While the connection speed is acceptable, latency can jump significantly and drops occur outside ideal conditions. I've been exploring fixes, but antenna upgrades seem costly compared to a simple hands-on approach. Anyone else facing similar issues? Some general guidance would be appreciated. Thanks, Ron

I looked up DIY Yagi 4G antennas online and couldn’t locate details for band 2. The only design available was labeled as Band 2, though it was mistakenly marked 3G. It’s unclear if the performance would change. I found the information on Whirlpool’s wiki, which might be useful. Testing it could be a good idea if it fits your budget.
