Hello, I'm working on creating a business card design in Illustrator and facing the same problem with Photoshop. On screen it looks sharp, but when printing, the image appears blurry and low resolution. I'm new to both programs and need guidance. Could someone help? I might be able to share a file if it’s useful.
Have you verified that your project size is in high resolution? The PPI settings matter because they indicate the number of pixels per inch. It’s a bit tricky to explain, but that’s the point.
Consider creating a file in Illustrator using 300PPI if that matches the required printing resolution.
I haven't worked with Illustrator much. Exporting usually means getting the file in a standard format like PNG or JPEG. You can either save it directly from Illustrator or convert it to the desired format afterward.
I've checked the actual .AI and PDF versions, and they both perform the same function.
I believe the dimensions are correct. For another label, the sender also mentioned it was too low resolution for printing.
Could you link the project file? Or you maybe dont wont to give it out lol.
