If you can cut some components to lower costs, which part can be swapped for a cheaper alternative without significantly affecting performance?
Personally, I wouldn’t suggest making much change if you have the means.
If saving is important, you can get by with a more affordable M.2 drive, a cheaper case, power supply, and an older video card such as the 7700xt.
Although the 7700xt is essentially as fast as the RTX 5060Ti in straightforward rasterization, you would still be missing modern features like frame generation capabilities of the 5060Ti.
DLSS 4 offers much better performance compared to an older FSR3, and the 5060Ti also provides extra 4GB of VRAM which could be useful for future games.
If you’re interested in ray tracing, the 5060Ti is still superior to the older 7700xt.
The GPU is the most critical component here, as it greatly influences your system’s gaming performance.
The 5060Ti isn’t perfect, but it’s the best option you can afford.
The RTX 5070 is about 35% faster on average, though it comes with a higher price tag.
