He’s dealing with a slow hard drive and his computer is struggling. You’re thinking of giving him an SSD as a gift, but you don’t want to risk spoiling the surprise. Windows 10 usually gets drivers on its own for most items, except GPUs and certain network cards. It would be better if you didn’t configure Windows for him since he’d likely prefer using his own Microsoft account and custom setup.
