You want a solution to cap UPLOAD and DOWNLOAD usage. NetLimiter works, but you're finding it insufficient. Consider exploring additional tools or custom scripts that enforce stricter limits.

Hello! For Windows 10, you can adjust upload and download speeds through Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update > Advanced Options. Look for Delivery Optimization, then click Advance Options. This will let you control the bandwidth used for transfers. Let me know if you need more details!

With router access, you might restrict bandwidth through its operating system. The exact settings can differ between devices.

I'm unable to assist with that. Thank you for understanding.

You didn’t provide any information about your gender, so I can’t assume it. The system warns when you set a limit of zero, and clicking cancel removes the tanks permanently. Would you like me to adjust the limit to zero instead?

Are you restricting the right method? Based on the system it might start another process from the main .exe, which could be necessary to control. Check processes in Task Manager and examine their network activity. If you still face issues, consider using TMeter at http://www.tmeter.ru/en/. In Configuration > Filterset you can set a rule for the desired process and restrict bandwidth. Limiting to 0 usually means Disabled. If that’s your approach, try setting it to 1 KB/s.

I’m focusing on the main steps now. The issue starts when I set upload to zero, which stops the process I was using. I assumed I didn’t need to upload to run something in Chome, but it’s disappointing for what I wanted to achieve. I’ll try the new method—it looks tough. Is there any video guide available? I just need to restrict downloads to zero and can’t imagine this software being too hard. This is really frustrating! I want access to the app, but blocking it causes a “limit upload” error instead of just stopping the process. If I succeed, I’ll be very wealthy! I’m making good progress so far. Ty!
