I have a used Lenovo AIO 700 24-inch system, reportedly due to a faulty motherboard. The service center doesn’t have replacements available. I’m considering assembling a PC on a tight budget using the Intel Core i5 6400 chip recovered from the AIO. My research shows I’m restricted to Intel 100 and 200 series boards. The only board I can find locally in India is a Gigabyte GA-H110M-H. For the case, I plan to use an HP Micro ATX unit from a prebuilt system. I’m thinking about connecting a Corsair Vengeance LPX 8GB (1 x 8GB) DDR4 2400MHz C16 RAM with the motherboard. For power, I aim to install a Gigabyte P450B 450W PSU. The budget rig will also use an Ant Esports VS500L PSU. I have a Crucial MX500 250 GB SSD ready for OS installation. I’ll bring the wireless keyboard and mouse from the AIO, along with a 24-inch 1080p monitor. Could you confirm if this setup would suit a home PC mainly for browsing, media, and light office tasks? I plan to keep it for about two years until parts prices drop. Also, any advice on salvaging the LCD panel from the AIO to repurpose as a display would be appreciated. Thanks. Visagamani

The pb series of gigabyte is a reliable power supply unit, but it tends to fail unexpectedly without any warning, causing your system to stop working. Whether it can function depends on the situation—possibly yes, but you should consider it carefully. You might also find a Lenovo motherboard on eBay and purchase that instead. What is your budget?
