You can run ThrottleStop using the system tray icon by setting its properties to hide it. This allows it to appear as a background service while still being accessible from the task manager.

For your task setup in the Task Scheduler, refer to the provided guide. http://forum.notebookreview.com/threads/...9/page-514 Use the choice "Run whether user is logged on or not." This will launch ThrottleStop in the background handling voltage control and similar functions, while preventing users from accessing the interface. The upcoming release next week will add another similar option.

Adjust each tray icon in settings. Choose to always display, to show it, or to hide it.
