I just started using Dxtory with default settings and began recording. The video quality was impressive, but the file size was quite large—33GB for just 25 minutes of playtime. I’m wondering if it’s possible to record in 720p while the game runs at 1080p. If it works, what method should I try? Thanks!

Ensure you avoid large rawcap files and programs that require them. Lower the quality settings if you prefer smaller sizes. For users with slow internet, 720p is the best resolution for YouTube videos.

Silent melodies could pair Dxtory for recording and OBS for rendering. OBS supports video downscaling, but its output format is limited to MP4.
