Create a fresh storage device.
Create a fresh storage device.
You got your new PC and noticed two storage devices missing from the list. They’re both unallocated in the BIOS. After checking disk management, you’ll see they need a fresh allocation. The wizard will prompt you to choose size, assign a letter or path, and decide whether to format with NTFS or exFAT. Decide if you want a quick format or leave them untouched. File and folder compression is an option for saving space once formatted.
Choose a drive letter quickly. The defaults work, but you can rename it if needed. Proceed with the wizard.
