Hello, I recently switched from my MSI 2070 gaming trio to an Aorus 3070 Master setup a few days back. From day one, I increased the GPU overclock as I prefer, and immediately noticed some issues—game would freeze, monitors went black, and background audio would glitch. After a short while, the screens came back but the game crashed. In Event Viewer I saw an error message. I captured a screenshot below. My card is listed on the OC bios, and it’s been overclocked at 75°C on CPU and 700°C on memory. Most of the time I can recreate the problem by setting core clock to 90°C, then it happens quickly. I’m unsure if the instability comes from the overclock itself or something else. Occasionally, running a 105°C and 1000°C setup on 3DMark works fine, but sometimes it fails entirely. Recently, with a 75°C overclock, it passed on benchmark, yet before that it refused to run at 90°C and now does too. Perhaps the issue isn’t just the overclock, or maybe it’s a different problem altogether. The rest of the PC specs are: Mobo ASUS X570 Gaming-F, GPU Aorus 3070 Master, CPU 5800X, RAM Trident Z RGB, 3600 CL 16 PSU, and a Corsair RM750x power supply. I tried reinstalling drivers, changed PCIe mode from auto to Gen 4, and used a dual PCIe cable with a daisy chain.
