After installing the latest CSGO update, I've faced crashes in the main menu or loading screen. The game runs smoothly otherwise, but when switching to a war mode or selecting a team, my PC shuts down with fans spinning and then restarting. All drivers are up to date. Here are my system details: CPU – AMD R5 1600X, RAM – gskill Trident Z 2x 8GB, 3600 MHz, GPU – MSI RX Vega 64 LQ, Motherboard – MSI B450M Gaming Plus, PSU – Sharkoon Silentstorm Cool Zero 650W.

It might be a driver problem. I haven’t experienced crashes with the CS on my AMD system. You could test with outdated drivers for your Vega 64.

Check the game files for completeness. They may be absent.

Attempted to revert to a previously working driver but the issue persists.
