While gaming Witcher 3 for about an hour causes the screen to freeze, I can still continue playing. After updating to version 1.03, the issue persists. I installed Curious and examined the Event Viewer, which showed: "Application witcher3.exe has been blocked from accessing Graphics hardware." (Event ID 4109). I attempted reinstalling drivers, adjusting settings, downclocking, overclocking, reinstalling the Net Framework, but nothing resolved it. If you have any advice, I’d appreciate hearing it. My system specs: 14 GB RAM, Gainward Phantom GTX 770, 2 GB Asus ROG Maximus V Gene, 120 GB Kingston SSD, 1 TB WD HDD, Windows 8.1.

Many users are facing challenges, and there are still no clear solutions. It’s best to endure the situation until a new update or fix becomes available.

Maybe 2GB of VRAM could work.

It shouldn't be because the graphics card I have doesn't meet the recommended specifications...

You aren't the only one. Patches 1.02 & 1.03 I've experienced a few crashes myself. Think we'll just have to wait until fixes.

I also possess a 2GB GTX 770 with the game active at high/ultra settings. After about 24 hours of playtime, there were no crashes reported, suggesting the issue isn't VRAM-related. My friend is using an R9 280 with 3GB RAM on 1440x900 resolution and experiences a crash once per hour.
