I recently upgraded to a Ryzen 7 5800x and gifted my Ryzen 5 5600x to my girlfriend. (For reference, when checking idle temperatures with the Ryzen 5, I reached 45-50°C, while her PC stayed at 35-40°C). I’m running a MSI Coreliquid 240R AIO and am certain the temps are safe but still elevated. They’re considering a new AIO or case upgrade (currently using MSI MAG VAMPIRIC 010) and wondering about thermal paste options. Any advice? P.P.S. I was told it might be the AIO or the case’s airflow if it’s noisy. Could you suggest better cases and AIOs within a £100 budget? Also, the PC is really loud—please help... Thanks!

Do you all spin at the same pace? If yours is slow while hers is fast, it could be the reason behind it.

Hey! It looks like your followers might be the reason for the disturbance. Please re-upload, reposition, and confirm the AIO is set up correctly to prevent cavitation above the die.

The AIO is quite a bit older than you might think. As for the temperatures during stress, they tend to rise noticeably.

The system is just a few weeks old, the AIO is around two weeks since I switched to the stock cooler and temperatures remain similar.
