Cpu upgrade dilemma
Cpu upgrade dilemma
So, with ryzen 4th gen coming out around September, i've been holding off on building a new computer. I'm also waiting on nvidia 3000 series but that's less on my mind since i already decided on a rtx 3700(if they stick with naming). Now I mostly use my pc for gaming, with titles like gta5 and warframe. I currently have a core I5 6500 which is starting to chug on some programs i use. I also wanna try to get into streaming, so i'm definitely going ryzen with my next system. The question i'm asking is basically this: Should i wait for ryzen 4th gen, or get one now. With the 3800x being $328US and 3900x being $419US(not decided on tier i want). With mostly gaming for now, would it be any benefit to wait. Thanks for any help, i've been stuck on this question for 3 months now, but can't decide.
Hold on and continue saving—new 600 series motherboards with CPUs might arrive if the rumors hold. Patience is key. Your plans won’t wait. In five years, you’ll be eager to assemble a fresh PC.
