For optimal performance, consider NHD15. A 360mm AIO offers better cooling, though it comes with higher cost and a more challenging fit in a case.
For those sticking with Noctua, a U12A or D15 works well. The U12A might seem understated because it offers more power than models like the U12S. It features a refreshed heatsink and includes two A12 fans that perform better than the F12 found in the U12S. Originally created as a substitute for the D15 with a design leaning toward the U12S, it’s quite an impressive build. The D15 remains slightly superior, but the U12A comes remarkably near.
Intel adjusted the default CPU voltage curve upward for the 10850K, which aids stability but isn’t always required. Reducing the voltage can lower power use and heat generation, potentially cutting full-load temperatures by around 15°C. Adjusting the settings may bring your maximum temperatures down noticeably. For reference, run simple bench tests like Cinebench R20 while checking voltage via HWiNFO64. On my Asus board, focus on the VCore value. I think a 240mm would work fine. Alternatively, consider the NHD15 air cooler.
