CPU Thermal paste
CPU Thermal paste
You can try changing the thermal paste yourself if you're comfortable with the process, but it's best to follow detailed tutorials. Watching guides will help you understand the steps and avoid mistakes. If you're unsure, visiting a store is a safer option.
Yea I don't see why you can't lol Unless your uncomfortable doing it I suppose but it's pretty easy
Various systems present unique challenges when dismantling them, and mistakes are always possible. Accepting that risk opens the door to success. If your aim is mainly to enhance thermals, proceed only if you're confident it's actually better now than before (considering weather conditions). These issues aren't usually severe—like the case with GPU paste changes after years, which rarely affects performance significantly. The original setup still performed adequately.
Disassembling laptops isn’t fun, but most have videos showing the process. I generally avoid it unless there’s a video available, because I tend to break delicate parts. I’m also not very careful—my fingers are clumsy, so I’d rather not risk damaging something fragile.
It depends enitrely on the model. If its a larger/slightly older laptop then disassembly should be fairly easy, I did it a couple of times with my old laptop. Smaller laptops can be harder but not impossible, and some more common laptops may have disassembly guides available online. If you're comfortable with it I would say do it, but you have to accept there is a small risk involved.
