The updated 13th generation Intel CPU works with the Gigabyte B660 GAMING X AX DDR4, though the manual doesn't mention a BIOS upgrade being necessary. The motherboard details confirm compatibility, but a firmware update might still be advisable.

Confirm with the seller about the board's current status. Model B660 is an older generation and may require a BIOS update for compatibility with 13th Gen. Newly made units typically include the latest BIOS, but older ones might not. It’s best to verify before buying or consider a 13th Gen motherboard.
