I just installed a fresh build and it’s heating up to around 95°C under peak loads. The motherboard runs the B650 AORA Pro Ax 6950XT with DDR5 6000MHz RAM, and I’m using the Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 cooler.

I purchased the identical cooler after my 5600x overheated at 94 degrees during a session of Escape From Tarkov. Your maximum temperature dropped to 67 degrees. A curious point—did you apply thermal paste, and were you careful not to use too much? Also confirm the fans are directed correctly: front toward back, one at the front and another between the heatsinks (not positioned at the back initially).

It's typical for 7000 series chips, built to enhance performance like a GPU, to reach a maximum boost clock speed of 95 GHz. No issues here.

Consider reapplying thermal paste and reinstalling the cooler. It’s likely the mounting issue, as removing my 5800x3d caused temperatures to rise about three degrees. Alternatively, you could install a curve optimizer; I’m using -30 for all cores, which lowered temps from 90°C under load to 82°C.
