I observed that while watching YouTube gameplay videos, my CPU temperatures rise from around 50 to 62 and then drop. I’m unsure what’s causing this change. The cooling system seems properly installed, but I only changed one thing during the PC build—applying the paste. This issue seems to happen again, though I don’t recall the previous steps. Appreciate your assistance!

Ignore the idle periods; focus on your CPU and cooler. Check the temperatures during stress tests and the tools you use for monitoring.

It's normal for the number to shift from 47 to around 62 and stay there.

I own an R5 2500 with a Cyorig C7 on the default cooling path. Under stress, temperatures rise to 60-70°C, especially during intense gaming like NFS Heat 72C. Monitoring via HMmonitor and HWinfo64 shows this pattern.
