CPU temperature reached extremely high levels.
I experienced overheating problems with my 10850K recently. The fans got very loud soon after, and the CPU hit temperatures around 100 degrees. After reapplying paste, the problem persisted. Setting the BIOS to default resolved it temporarily, but restarting didn’t fix it long-term. A hard reset of the BIOS helped briefly, though the CPU would still reach 100 degrees again. The machine was sent out for repairs, and after replacing the CPU and GPU, the issue returned. I reformatted my M.2 drive and reinstalled Windows, but nothing worked. If you restart the computer 3 or 4 times, temperatures stay under 30°C idle and drop below 40°C during gaming. Please advise!
When using a liquid cooler, performance may vary depending on how often you restart the system. However, without specific information about your CPU cooler model, it's hard to determine the exact cause of the issue.
I took the machine out saying the CPU cooler was the problem, but they told me it wasn't.
