Hey guys , my rig is :
i7 6700
980ti
h130 d3h
32gb ram
2 tb nvme ssd
im using the librehardwaremonitor
and i have seen that slowly my cpu temp goes up to 94%
and then if i want to play a game i need to restart my pc and then im able to game smoothly

this pc is ten years old, and after replacing the psu, i'm not sure if it was done or not. otherwise, i didn't replace it during those ten years.

I'd estimate around 10C-15C. The stock cooler seemed a bit too small for an i7 initially, but since the Core 3 is significantly cooler than the others, it suggests the thermal paste may have begun to dry out.

Eximo is perfectly accurate. Another choice would be to swap the OEM cooler for a significantly superior alternative.
