Today was challenging, I forced my computer off the desk using the back of my office chair. Fortunately, my tempered glass stayed intact but the machine failed to start. Luckily I’m currently handling several PC projects, so I have a spare AM4 B550 motherboard ready. I transferred my 5700X to this backup board and it functioned properly. I moved the CPU from the original motherboard to the one that fell off my desk, and it also worked (the other is a 3100). At this stage I’ve checked every component from the PC that fell and cross-tested them with other parts—everything is operating correctly. Odd… so I reassembled the remaining components and now the machine is booting, but it’s showing a CPU LED error from my MSI B500m Mortar board. It won’t turn on. If anyone knows how this could happen or what steps I should take to troubleshoot, it would be really helpful.

Have you checked your power source? It could be wise to switch to a different one just in case, though you probably have already done that.

Hi, thank you. I noticed you mentioned testing with a different power supply earlier.
