Same brand but your friend’s machine uses another CPU. His system logs show no power restrictions. Was he gaming then? Your device experiences power caps that are being set too low, probably by the BIOS. ThrottleStop won’t fix this issue. Are there any Asus programs installed? Consider removing everything from Asus.

Yeah, but his laptop is the successor ,everythings up by 1 generation,so i thought things would be same. Is it not possible to do anything about this?Should i try downgrading the BIOS? or any other software? And just got some asus install and live update type of apps,i guess they have nothing to do with this. ill try asking my friend with same laptop model about this, will attach his log file too to see if its common.

The FX504 is recognized for its frequent throttling issues. Avoid purchasing it. Refer to the information below:

You might be able to reduce the BIOS settings if possible. The strong power restriction built into this laptop is part of its design. The limit comes from an internal controller inside your machine. I doubt you’ll manage to work around it. Edit – Are there any Asus programs you’re using to adjust fan speed? This is intriguing.

Begin with undervolt and repaste. A further reason to skip Asus devices entirely. Purchasers often remain unaware they receive a gaming laptop with significantly reduced performance compared to its original price.

No software but theres a shortcut fn + f5 which changes the fan mode. it goes from silent to balanced to overboost.

Silent operation is reached by setting the power cap to 22W. Have you experimented with overboost? Check the ThrottleStop log file to confirm if power limits are still applied when the fan runs in this setting. Even balanced fan mode could suffice to prevent throttling.

Hey I just thought about this. You can see in my friend's log file , even when the power is below 25W he's clock speed is at 3.9 ghz and never goes down. Why's this happening? And why my laptop isnt capable of the same?
