CPU reaches maximum utilization following motherboard replacement.
Hello, I completed the motherboard replacement yesterday because of problems with my old one. I switched from an MSI B450 Tomahawk MAX to a Gigabyte GamingX V2 B550. The main problem is that the system suddenly goes black and doesn’t come back. Another issue was that after installing all parts, it insisted on getting a new Windows update but failed. The real concern is that the processor runs at full capacity even when no apps are running, then it blacks out after a few minutes. I have an R5 3600 at 3.6 GHz, which can reach 4.07 GHz sometimes without being enabled. Can anyone assist?
You replaced the motherboard to refresh the system and ensure everything runs smoothly. Updating drivers is part of this process, as Windows handles updates automatically during such changes. The remaining specifications might provide useful context but aren't essential for the decision.
