Your i5-7500 seems to be struggling with performance issues, especially under heavy loads like Discord and Spotify. With your 1440p screen and 2070 SUPER, 16GB DDR4 RAM, the problem might not be the CPU itself but rather other factors such as software, drivers, or background processes.

The low temperatures seem off. It looks like a bottleneck issue, though not severe enough to halt Discord and Spotify. There might be an odd problem with your Windows setup, possibly a virus.

My antivirus is set to run regular checks, so I shouldn’t be at risk from that kind of threat.

Could the cooling system be the issue? Have you verified its proper installation? If using the Intel standard mount, it might shift slightly in a corner... Or perhaps the thermal paste needs replacement? On the other hand, if it's an AIO, how long has it been running? Could excessive liquid loss have caused it to dry out?

It's a stock cooler, and I can see the mount, but I'm not very familiar with coolers since my cousin assisted me in assembling my PC.

Turn off all background applications, including the one you mentioned; observe the updates. Which device are you using, and did you just apply thermal paste during installation?

My cousin made the computer in early 2018, so it would have been finished back then.

Stops working please? The system is operating at similar temperatures to the CPU. The case ventilation appears adequate.

When the cooling system is running cooler and it's been more than two years, I’d strongly suggest replacing the old thermal paste with fresh material. Arctic Silver 5, Arctic MX-4, and Noctua NT-H1 are well-liked options, each costing just a few dollars per tube.

Game audio and voice chat stopped working. I can only hear the game itself, and they seem unable to respond. I’m unsure how to check RAM temperatures. There’s a fan on the back, but the others I received were too large for my setup, so I didn’t install them.
