Cpu overheating
I recently attempted to assemble my own build but encountered an issue with CPU overheating. When in save mode, the temperature drops to 2240 and stays between 40-50°C. Switching to performance mode raises the frequency to around 4300, pushing the temp up to about 60°C. During gaming or heavy tasks it climbs to roughly 80°C. If I run a stress test or Cinebench, the system resets. I’m using a Ryzen 3700X with an ASUS Strix X570 e cooler.
It wasn't pre-applied and I did apply the thermal paste. The model is Cooler Master MasterLiquid ML240R ARGB.
Your fan curves might not be working properly. The pump speed at idle in the AIO unit should be very high.
Ensure the cooling pad is detached and verify even application; if missing, wipe it and reapply thicker paste next time.
Already verified the thermal paste, it was spread uniformly everywhere.
