Hey there. I've seen your PC stop running overclocked and now only hitting 4GHz per core. Your BIOS shows a totally different interface, and you don’t have any overclock controls left. After updating to the latest Beta version of your BIOS, everything seemed fine. A few weeks back you added extra 16GB of TridenZ memory, which caused some issues—I had to reset the CMOS to get it working. Eventually, it functioned with overclocking. Now I’m stuck since my CPU won’t reach 4.2 anymore. CPU-Z says I’m on AGESA 1.0.0.6 with MSI Bios 7A34vALR (beta). Should I revert back to BIOS version 7A34vAJ? Anyone have advice? Also, Ryzen Master crashes when I try to open it.
The motherboard is... well, it's a standard component. Do you have the AI Suite software set up?
And you didn't make any adjustments like updating the bios? It just appeared that way? Did the bios update automatically via the app or something? If not, I'm concerned about the bios's integrity. A flash could do nothing, improve it, or even harm it further. To check, first reset CMOS and remove any motherboard or OC tools you've installed. Update the chipset drivers. Consider a fresh Windows install... (I don't know the current status of the OS yet). Then decide if a flash is better than an RMA... I'm still weighing this, but...
Im an idiot and MSI are terrible and UI's I think due to the added support of 3000's CPU's the removed the UI to save space. Now when i change the options from normal to advanced AUTO is no longer in brackets. But theres no indication that you can write anything instead. I just thought of it, and its now fixed. Im back at 4.2 thanks for the help
