Hello everyone. I'm running an Intel Celeron E3400 Dual Core at 2.6GHz and a G41m-Combo. I restarted my PC and accessed the BIOS to try overclocking the CPU. I used the latest version of BIOS, but didn't adjust the voltage since it wasn't visible. After changing it to 3.0GHz, the performance improved and has remained stable so far. When I saved the settings, the system shut down and then restarted normally. Upon checking in Windows Properties, the speed still shows as 2.6GHz with no changes. I also checked CPU-Z, which reported the Core Speed fluctuating between 1385.x MHz and 3002.x MHz before dropping back to 1385. The Specification Name stayed at 2.6GHz. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

If cpuz is displaying jumps to 3ghz, then you are overclocked.
Cool quiet is reducing the speed when it's not required.
Now you should perform a stress test to check stability.
Prime95 is very effective for testing CPU memory overclocks.
Just opt for stress testing.

CPUZ, windows, the bios, and numerous other applications obtain their ID information from the hardware. They do not verify for overclocking.

If cpuz is showing jumps to 3ghz then you are overclocked.
cool n quiet is dropping the speed down when not needed.
Now you need to stress test it to see if it is stable or not.
Prime95 works wonders for checking cpu memory overclocks.
Just choose stress testing.

Blend is the method most individuals rely on.
It thoroughly evaluates the CPU and memory systems.
