I've set the optimized defaults in the Bios, I'll play a game for two hours then come back to let you know if the problem persists or resolves.

I reset everything to the default settings in the BIOS, turned off XMP as well, and I also reinstalled Windows 10 because I forgot to reinstall it after changing my motherboard a month ago. I did this tonight just to be sure it wasn’t causing the issue. I was able to play for a few hours without any crashes or reboots. I plan to try again tomorrow and see if I can play for another few hours to confirm. If the problem was related to the OC and XMP profile, what should I do to reset it back? Would I need to set the RAM timings manually and also manually overclock the CPU because part of me is considering leaving it alone for stability?

Start by checking if XMP can be activated and if it remains stable. Be aware you might need to manually set the voltage to the maximum specified by the RAM manufacturer for stability. Once you successfully boot with XMP enabled, begin by creating and launching a Memtest86 USB, allowing it to complete at least one full memory test cycle (this may take some time). If the process finishes without any issues, your memory should be approximately 99% stable.

I tried that before letting it run for four passes, but I had both sticks installed. I’ll do some testing in the coming days until I’m sure it wasn’t just caused by overclocking. Then I’ll test again with XMP enabled. Should I also update my BIOS?

I generally suggest updating the BIOS, and because you're clearing everything, now seems like a good moment.
