I chose to increase my CPU after upgrading my GPU. It worked well for around 4 hours of intense PUBG gameplay, but then the CPU overheated and I experienced a BSOD. After rebooting, I accessed my desktop but couldn’t launch any programs, receiving an error about the application failing to start due to an incorrect side-by-side setup. What’s happening?

What is your CPU model?
Which adjustments did you make for the overclock?
What is the make and model of your motherboard?
Do you have a CPU cooler installed?
Have you added a CPU temperature monitoring app, such as Core Temp? What temperatures are you seeing?
