Right now I'm using the 4770k with 5600xt, which feels a bit limited.
I could move to the Z4G4 w-2135 (4x8GB, 2666MHz) for about 250usd (with a chance to upgrade the GPU), or stick with the 5600 (no overclocking, solid MBD and PSU, 2x16GB at 3200MHz) for around 450$.
However, I think the 7500F is worth it—no overclocking, reliable components, 2x16GB at 5600MHz, and it could open up upgrade options later by just swapping the CPU.
In any Ryzen setup, I won’t be able to upgrade the GPU anymore.
The 6700xt is roughly 300$ (only feasible if I build a Z4G4 version).

The 9600x offers roughly the same average FPS as the 5800X3D, which remains the top gaming chip for the AM4 socket. This setup still provides flexibility to upgrade the CPU in 3-4 years with the best available AM5 gaming chips. I recommend a solid PSU that supports up to 400W, enabling a GPU like the 9070 XT comfortably. Upgrading to a graphics card should be prioritized soon.
