Is there anyone who understands why your CPU seems to be overheating more than usual despite the fans running at 66,000 RPM on your ASRock B450M HDV R4.0? Since you haven’t added any fans yet, it might be related to the cooling setup.

CPU core voltage is 4 volts (roughly four times its required value). The 12V rail operates at 13.4 volts, the 5V rail at 6.12 volts, and the 3.3V rail at 4 volts. Something seems very off with your setup. Which power supply are you connecting?

You're using a 600W EVGA 80+ W1 unit, brand new, and you were impressed by its performance. The fact that it starts with Windows instead of BSD suggests it might not be compatible with your setup.

Consider using an alternative PSU first if possible. Otherwise, I recommend sending the motherboard along with the PSU for replacement to ensure safety. Share this screenshot with both manufacturers to explain the reason for the RMA. The 65535 limit represents the highest address value a 16-bit system can use; exceeding it could damage the logic chip or fry the PSU.

It seems the device functions properly, yet the shown temperature isn't accurate. The issue might be related to the ADC in the sensor.
