I set up the new CPU (5800X) and temperatures are at 90°C, yet performance stays near 15%. Added thermal paste and the fan is functioning properly. My previous CPU (2400G) had similar issues.
Would it work better at lower power? For a 2400g setup, it’s likely not powerful enough for a 5800x, but the issue seems worse than what @Caroline said.
2400G was included with the stealth iirc, though not sufficient; avoid running at 90°C constantly. The 5800x being a single CCD could explain this. Ensure proper installation and consider upgrading.
It’s evident there’s an issue with the cooler attachment, and using the standard 2400g model isn’t recommended. These are two distinct problems.
