Hello, I'm experiencing an issue with my 3900x processor that occasionally drops below 4GHz (starting up and remaining at that speed). It works between 0.5GHz and 2GHz, but the problem resets after a restart. This has been happening for some time, though it improved slightly before returning. I thought I'd share it here since it's been an ongoing concern. Thanks for any assistance!

It might be due to thermal throttling. Could you share your temperatures during those moments?

What are you doing? Playing games or just resting on your desk? If it’s the latter, it’s perfectly fine—just a low-power mode.

It seems to check if the system is functioning as intended or if performance is affected by heavy use.

It seems the system is conserving energy since it isn’t under heavy use. You might want to check the Windows power settings and switch it to full performance if you need higher speeds, especially with proper cooling.
