You're experiencing an issue where the BIOS reports the latest CPU version but the motherboard displays a CPU LED error. This could indicate a mismatch between the BIOS update and the actual hardware configuration. Double-check the motherboard's CPU model against the BIOS version to ensure compatibility.

I just verified this and all three 5800 models (X, non-X, X3D) are compatible. @Gauzl OP, I wouldn't rely solely on the BIOS information here. In the BIOS update list for this chip, both 5800X and 7C94v18 along with 7C94v14 are mentioned. If the newest BIOS is 7C94v18, having two versions listed could mean an older 5800X might not be detected. It's a possibility, but it's uncertain. If you installed any of these, consider updating the BIOS to another version. Also, note your complete specifications—Ryzens seem confused about RAM and this might relate to memory support or compatibility. Edited September 19, 2022 by An0maly_76 Updated with more details

Consider testing the newest release first, as it may address recent updates. The latest version should likely cover both v14 and v18, but always verify compatibility.

The most recent setup works perfectly. Talking about RAM, are you using a collection of Corsair modules?
