Never encountered this before. Could be a silicone sealing frame similar to the one used for AM5? https://en.overclocking.com/sealing-fram...r-cpu-am5/ If confirmed: now you understand the term and know what to search for.

I have some concerns about the image, which appears to be of poor resolution. However, since I haven’t encountered anything like this before... I’ll take it. (seems like silicone, and it doesn’t really hide the pins well, which is what I thought)

There are various options available. Linus used a 3D printed holder. Some come with clampshells (included with every CPU). There are also trays. The one he mentioned is this: https://www.stlfinder.com/model/amd-cpu-...9/4129644/

Question the assumption then. The image captured doesn't display the lid included in the print. I understand the thread I shared doesn't specifically mention these parts, though they were referenced in other videos as being printed.
