Your TP410uf is experiencing high temperatures while gaming and low frame rates. I've used TS Bench and the temps stayed between 70-80°C with no issues. The idle temps are around 50°C. If anyone has any settings suggestions, let me know!

It's a laptop... You can simply reduce the maximum clocks to prevent throttling.

I've adjusted the frequency to a maximum of 3000mhz, but it keeps getting hot while 2000mhz causes performance issues. I'm unsure what caused this change, but the laptop previously worked fine without speed limits, staying under 80°C, yet now it reaches 90°C+ even with the same settings.

It's generally preferable to stick with a consistent 3.5GHz frequency rather than jumping between 4GHz, 3GHz, and 3.5GHz. If overheating occurs even at 3GHz, the cooling performance might be insufficient, possibly caused by dust buildup or a dried paste.

Your configurations are acceptable. If your laptop’s temperatures have shifted from previous levels, it’s time to open and clean your machine. Should that not resolve the issue, consider replacing the thermal paste as well. If you’re short on time for maintenance, lower the turbo settings in the FIVR panel and run your CPU at a slower pace to reduce heat output. When executing the TS Bench, the shared heatsink only needs to manage CPU heat. During gaming, both CPU and Nvidia GPU generate heat that must be removed. Most laptop heatsinks are underbuilt. The 8550U model has a 15W TDP rating. The heatsink was never intended for a 32W or 44W CPU, though the power limits in the TPL window reflect that. If the heatsink fails to dissipate heat effectively, the CPU will hit its safe operating temperature and begin throttling to prevent damage. The Nvidia GPU may also be throttling. If lowering turbo ratios isn’t an option, adjust the MSR PL1 and PL2 power limits to a level your heatsink can handle without overheating the CPU or GPU. For your settings, verify the MMIO Lock box so you only need to adjust MSR turbo limits. Enabling this will disable extra MMIO power constraints. Setting Power Limit 4 to zero and IccMax for the core and cache to their maximum values (255.75) should work well. Intel CPUs perform adequately without conflicting power limits competing for control. Relying solely on MSR limits simplifies heat management.

Performance has noticeably increased with lower temperatures, though it remains around 80-85°C. I set the turbo ratio limits to 25 and power limits to 10. In the Limit Reasons, PL 2 appears under Core and Gpu while EDP Other is listed under Ring. Is this an issue?

I omitted noting the adjustment of Power Limits to 15, yet even at 10 or 15, after a few minutes (sometimes less) of gaming, my fps drops sharply, from around 80 to 30 fps (I'm playing Minecraft). This frame drop vanishes when I view simple things like walls or the sky, or Alt Tabbing, but it resurfaces right after a few seconds. Additionally, I observe that my CPU never exceeds 1600 MHz.
