I possess an ipdeapad s340 equipped with 8gb ram and an intel core i7 1065g7 processor running at 1.30 ghz. While playing Minecraft it suddenly crashed and the screen went black. After restarting, my ram usage is at 60% or more with no extra background programs running. The cpu is limited to 0.19 ghz, and it takes about 10 seconds to open chrome.

Admiral, check out Run ThrottleStop 9.6 and share the main window screenshots, FIVR, TPL, and Limit Reasons views. Lenovo employs many throttling techniques on their laptops. With the right configuration, ThrottleStop often works well.

Admiral, what box is lighting up red? BD PROCHOT What box appears on the main ThrottleStop display? BD PROCHOT How can I identify what action to take? Maybe remove the check mark from the BD PROCHOT box on the main screen. I think I should look at the MMIO Lock option in the top-right corner of the TPL window. In the Options menu, if no lock icon shows, verify PROCHOT Offset and Lock PROCHOT Offset. This should stop another performance-killing trick from Lenovo. Things should improve significantly. Enable the Log File feature so you can track CPU performance during games or important tasks. Save a log file to your next post—it should be in the ThrottleStop/Logs folder.

I sent the latest images to ensure clarity. Have you made any changes since then?
