CPU freezes at 0.52Ghz and fails to restart
Myszy: Ryzen 5 7600x z mag b650 tomahawk wifi (latest BIOS), Corsair Rm850 alimentacja Trident z5 neo rgb 5600 cl28 Asrock 7900xtx phantom gaming Wd black sn850 1TB Windows 11 z wszystk aktualizacje (22H2).
Removed the GPU, connected the DP to the motherboard, switched PEG to IGD, and it worked fine in Windows without issues. I didn’t have any GPU driver before (I thought I had DDU installed), so perhaps installing this driver at 0.52GHz would help with integrated graphics. Also, I added a picture of the BIOS just in case I made the iGPU change correctly.
Here’s what GPU-Z displays, suggesting you might have made a mistake.
The recommended driver for the Integrated GPU matches the one used for discrete GPUs. You can download it from the provided link: https://www.amd.com/en/support/apu/amd-r...en-9-7900x
I used WinVer and attempted to install drivers, but the same error appeared again (error 192 – can't proceed due to OS issues). This problem shows up even without a GPU installed. When trying to install outside safe mode, the system automatically downloaded iGPU drivers and reduced signal strength. I had to restart the PC three times for it to attempt repairs. It seems any graphics driver I try—whether iGPU or GPU—continues to cause issues.
