Yes, the "QFLASH PLUS" button should function.

That’s about flashing BIOS without a CPU installed. If you need to open the case, an old method is to connect the reset button from a previous case to the clear CMOS jumpers.

That is actually a neat trick heheh...... anyways its so odd .... i unplugged the fan and it doesnt care.... it just ignores the fact there is no cpu fan.... the rest of the system fans work fine..... its just the cpu fan in the cpu fan header..... even when it was plugged in the fan utility either on bios or windows just register 0 rpm even if you calibrate it.... itll just go through the process as if its there working.... wont say its not connected or not working.... wtf

The bios appears partially corrupted. Suggest removing the CMOS and reprogramming the board. If needed, try a different fan header. As a final option, consider warranty service for the board.

CMOS remains faulty. I'm updating the BIOS now—CPU fan is running while this happens. It will spin as long as I'm not in the BIOS or Windows.

It's still not working properly. The CMOS is cleared and the BIOS was reflashed, but it keeps failing to run when I'm at the BIOS or Windows. Ugh, that's really annoying.

Do you have the motherboard drivers set up? It might start when you use the software.

It doesn’t seem to function properly at all. I understand switching the fan header would help, but I only had two initially. Any other suggestions? Could be a hardware issue or something unexpected happened recently?

Pretty strange. I dont have an answer for this one. All I know is the board is not working correctly if it doesnt give a cpu fan warning when its unplugged. Unless of course it's something stupid we havent thought of yet......
