As long as you're GPU limited, CPU isn't going to matter as much. But as @Hinjima said, you can still see a difference in minimum frame rates. Actual price should be somewhere around the $350 mark, not sure what NewEgg is smoking

I intend to upgrade that as well; the 3080Ti works fine now but falls short for 4K. I’m not sure if I should hold off until the RTX5xxx releases. Maybe I’ll buy a used GPU just to wait for those. Otherwise, it’s either a 4090 or a 4080—worst case.

Also verify at your nearby Wal-Mart—the one in this area has them for $399. That’s roughly the best price available right now, with no delays or shipping fees and no chance of damage during transit.

Check Microcenter for their AMD/Intel motherboard packages (CPU, board, RAM). I purchased a 14900K with 32GB DDR5 RAM for $700 last December—it was a great offer unless the 14900K had problems. Next time I’ll opt for an AMD bundle.
