Hello! You started with a B450 Aorus Elite V2 motherboard running the Ryzen 5 1600AF. You upgraded to a Ryzen 7 5700 and tested it for about two hours—gaming and YouTube, temps stayed around 63°C. After two hours, the screen went black even when the PC was still on. After a restart, nothing changed. You noticed the CPU debug light was lit. You tried several fixes: removing the CMOS battery for ten minutes, switching back to the old CPU, and taking out all RAM except one. You considered a BIOS update since the board already supports Ryzen 5000 series, but it didn’t work. You’re stuck—anyone can help?
It's not just the PSU board that's failed; you really can't do much other than send it back and replace it. Between the options, a 5700x seems better unless the 5700 non-X model is significantly different. If it's not that much worse, returning it would be a good idea.
Regarding the 5700x, it's worth noting that 5600x often comes with poor pricing, so it might not be a good idea unless it's close to 5700x.
In Hungary: 5600X equals 120 USD and both 5700 and 5700x amount to 150 USD now. When I purchased the 5700, the x version cost 170 USD.
