Hello, I own a Ryzen 3700X and have noticed my PC slowing down. When I launch Ryzen Master, it shows a lot of cores sleeping.

Since your system is idle, observe it during high usage...

Not all parts are required constantly. It's working to save energy and keeps things simple.

Um, my Ryzen stays active during games. It's as if all the cores work at nearly the same pace when things get busy, constantly. Edit: I misunderstood lol. If the PC is just resting, that's actually normal and a nice feature among today's CPUs.

Bump. Just got my new computer yesterday. Getting the same readings. I understand if it's not currently gaming it doesn't need to use all the cores, but them being asleep, does this explain why it is lagging? If so, how can I make them not sleep so that the lagging stops? My system is fresh, brand new and still lagging. I've been trying update drivers (with not a lot of success as my computer did not come with a CD drive) and it's driving me insane. Windows 10 MPG X570 Gaming Edge Wifi motherboard Ryzen 7 3700x Processor Nvidia Geforce GTX 1660 super graphics card sx8200 pro 256Gb ssd (running OS Windows 10) **Update** Changing setting in the BIOS from RAID to AHCI seems to have helped.... would like opinion on this. In the event the problem persists, what else could I try? (Please keep in mind, this is a FRESH install. I have nothing on my computer except for one song to test sound/lag and these monitoring programs to detect the lag)
