Z170 (asus z170m plus) motherboard, i5 6600k installed. Turbo/power management settings turned off. CPU-Z indicates core ratio at x35 (8 - 46). Attempted increasing core ratio to check for improvements, but it remains limited to about 3.5GHz each time. Reviewed other forums mentioning possible motherboard overclocking restrictions despite having a Z170 chipset. Could the manufacturer have disabled this feature? EDIT: Also tried setting base clock to around 103MHz, which resulted in higher CPU clocks. Thank you!

It seems to function properly while turbo boost is active.
