I was using my PC when the GPU fans began spinning at full speed. Since I wasn’t doing anything demanding, I looked at the GPU usage. I found that the fan was actually running at 0 RPM, but I could hear it wasn’t. This issue had happened before with another GPU in the system, yet I assumed it was dead. Anyone know how to resolve this?

I'm using a specific program to monitor the GPU fan speed. For controlling it, I also have software available for adjustment.

Thanks for the update. I was using hwinfo 64, but it ran at full speed after I cleaned the PCIe slot. Just needed to clear out the debris.
