I have an ASUS P8H61 motherboard with an i5 2320, and I tried using an i5 3550p. After swapping the CPUs, it worked fine. I realized my BIOS might be outdated and could need an update. I checked the supported CPU list and saw a 3550 listed, but not the 3550p. I also noticed some bent pins, yet it functioned properly with the 2320. So is the issue with compatibility or the bent pins? I’d likely need to update the BIOS before installing a 3rd generation CPU.

The 3550p features an inactive integrated GPU, preventing it from rendering through the motherboard's output. It remains the same as a standard 3550 model.
