I just increased my Ryzen 1300x overclock from 3.5 to 3.7ghz since boost isn't reaching 3.6 on auto mode. Now I worry the clock stays at max even when the PC isn't on. My motherboard is B350.

It varies based on how you customized the settings. If you only changed the multiplier, the frequency will remain constant but keep an eye on power usage under different loads and temperatures.

If your AMD Ryzen Balanced power plan is active, consider setting the CPU Minimum power state to 5% and observe the results.
