I'm checking a CPU upgrade in my Fujitsu Esprimo E710 90+. Do I need to remove the motherboard, or can I swap it out by removing the cooler, installing the new CPU with thermal paste, and then putting the cooler back on while flashing the latest BIOS?

I was concerned about the cooler getting too close to the motherboard, especially since removing it would be difficult.

Arrange your case flat on the table, remove the cooler, and insert the new CPU.

As long as the CPU works with the BIOS, it's just a minor adjustment

Everything functioned properly, but I’m feeling a bit puzzled. The Task Manager shows I’m running a Pentium G645, yet the NXT Cam indicates I have an Intel i5 2500. Did you make a mistake?

Please note what users are saying. The task manager frequently misinterprets hardware details.

At least the old cooler keeps things cool really well.
